Transferable Nil Rate Band Research

The same resources and experience that we use for our everyday research work, can also be used to identify the records needed in support of a transfer of a pre-deceased spouse’s nil-rate band.

Typically; these will be the deceased’s marriage certificate and the pre-deceased’s spouse’s death certificate and a copy of any Will or Grant of Probate, or Letters of Administration – but will ultimately depend on what records are available.
